I was trying to drop a video as this sounds fun but the Google Drive permission doesn't allow it for whatever it seems unless I am doing something wrong.

The Deer Lake area has been my default go-to place to practice which has been great.

I am within the Vancouver/Burnaby area personally. I am still relatively new so you probably know more places to fly. I have been mostly using it in places like the fields at deer lake and used it at like end of hikes whenever there is a good area to do so.

I actually received it late October as the company missed its initial release deadline of October 15th for everyone I believe. I'd be open a group flight. Always looking for good places to fly and get footage too.

I personally bought it straight from DJI when it was announced and was in the first batch.

I have actually been trying to research that myself too. The form is here apparently: Getting permission to fly your drone - Transport Canada I have mostly just been avoiding the Vancouver area and have used this map as a rough guideline of places that are supposed to be a no fly zone...

To my knowledge the whole area there is supposed to be off limits unless you have like a permit and such to fly it.

Purchased mine on Sept 27 from DJI. Was shipped out on Oct 21st and according to the shipping report it has arrived in my province already. So I should be getting it tomorrow.
