Assistant 2 is looking for a driver (that you probably don't need) and MacOS is blocking installation without jumping through some hoops. You can find instructions and a small download here: https://www.joshuawise.com/horndis

Electron is a crappy program (in JAVA, I think) that allows lazy developers to write programs to run on both Mac OS and Windows, with one set of code. As a result, it is a poor experience on both platforms, since it doesn't conform to the design parameters of either.
