Just flew it in the hallway - works a treat. Camera seems to be in focus, gimbal is fine from what I can tell. Top tip and a small scare for me - don't leave it sat on the sofa doing a firmware upgrade! It got more than a little hot and stopped responding after the reboot - had to wait for it...

Mŷ Combo just turned up from Camarthen Cameras (ordered yesterday thanks to Pedro). Setting up and upgrading now... can't fly it though as we have winds up to 70mph round here :rolleyes:

I've just cancelled my Maplin order also. I was third on the waiting list for a Combo. Lady on the phone said no earlier than 16th Jan before they get any more and no guarantees then either. Once they've got some in, they will ship out. Ordered from DJI direct instead...

Yep. Just debating if I should cancel my Maplin order and go straight to DJI - might be quicker... o_O

If you do a search for Mavic it doesn't show up. However, search for N88EM and it does. I guess that means they got some more deliveries to ship out (hopefully one of them is mine).

Just leave it long enough for Maplin to send mine out first please before you ruin the party :)

Me too. I'm guessing their stock system automatically updates when they come in, then immediately allocates them out to preorders. Oddly, last night I searched for the N88EM code on their site and it showed up. Today it doesn't. Hopefully we may get an email saying dispatched soon
