I'm afraid to jinx myself.... but I have not had any issues with my Mavic. I never performed an IMU cal nor a compass cal. I just set it up, downloaded firmware updates and flew it! I think it's a beautiful machine!

I bought my Mavic while in Greece. I travelled to Washington state by way of Athens, Frankfurt, San Francisco, and finally Seattle. Then my return to Greece by way of Maryland, El Paso, Frankfurt, and back to Athens. I had my Mavic inside the case from the bundle with a battery in each side...

I use these tags... It offers two methods of reporting. Either scan with a QRcode reader or use NFC.

I just bought my first ever apple device to use with my Mavic. After reading this thread I decided I would try the iPad Mini 4 16gb cellular+wifi. I did not get a cellular sim for it, I'm just going to use bluetooth tethering with my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Any tips on what apps I should run...

I may be wrong, but I am under the impression that the Mavic NEEDS the Go4 app to work. That's the app I used and it worked great for me, but I have seen numerous posts where others did not get it to work.

I wish I had an answer for you... but I'm still fairly new at this. Maybe Msinger or one of the more knowledgeable members can help!

I just got my Mavic Pro with the Fly More Combo and I flew it today until all 3 batteries were at 30%. I had no issues! I did NOT calibrate the IMU, I did NOT calibrate the compass. All I did was update the firmware (not really much of a choice) and set it on the ground, turned on the drone...

I just wanted to say that I finally got my Mavic yesterday :D and I flew it today. I also use the Galaxy S7 Edge and I had no issues with it (today). I did turn off the wifi mode on my S7 Edge because I got the warning about interference on 2.4G.
