I got my goggles yesterday. I've been measuring them in various configurations and comparing them to my existing Pelican 1400 I use for my Mavic.
They are huge. Huuuuuuge. I decided on the Pelican 1600 for the goggles and keeping the 1400 for the Mavic. The only Pelican case that could fit them...
Yeah, so, FedEx delivered mine yesterday! Guess I should have waited before cussing them out. Maybe DJI paid for Saturday delivery? Who knows.
Bad news is I wasn't home and my wife signed for them. ;-)
I'm right there with you. I didn't redirect or anything and I still got screwed by "On FedEx vehicle for delivery: Scheduled for delivery next business day" this morning. ******* fedex ground!
Mine shipped 5/23 from Austell Georgia, but won't be delivered until 5/30 because of the holiday. Best part is they went through a shipping hub near my house (Nevada) early this morning, then kept going to California.
ROFL.
Yeah, I'm thinking it will be fairly large. But I like to have a case I can throw in the trunk of my car and not worry about it bouncing around back there.
I'm trying to determine which Pelican cases would be large enough to accommodate the Mavic Pro, the DJI Goggles, and some accessories.
Those of you who already have the goggles, have you looked at cases yet? Can the goggles fit into a pelican case with the band attached (easily)? Has anybody...
My order changed to "Pay confirmed", but still no shipping information.
I suspect they ****** up something having to do with payments and the ordering of shipments.
I haven't seen anything yet. Ordered 04/24 18:39 UTC. Getting kinda nervous because I'm out of the country and if it is going to just show up I need accurate tracking info so I can decide whether to redirect it or not.
Ohhh. Yeah I remember people getting similar information from DJI reps during the Mavic fiasco. You would think they would have learned.
So far I am much more satisfied with pre-ordering my goggles than I was with pre-ordering my Mavic. If they ship the 20th then they won't get any complaints...
Good thing there are lenses inside the goggles that change that distance. Also if you watched the video, the guy uses them with glasses. And they work.
There is no question. They work with glasses.
