Can anyone comment on the scenarios above?

    RTH Question

Hi, I've had my Mavic Pro for a year now and I've not been keeping up with any changes in RTH behaviour. I'm wondering what the current situation is... - If the Mavic is in sport mode at the time there's a loss of signal, will it RTH with obstacle avoidance enabled? - If RTH height is set at...

Water Crash... Is this the VPS issue im now reading about?

I have a couple of questions related to this... - What exactly is the benefit of Landing Protection? Based on the manual, I see no purpose for it. If and when I instruct my Mavic Pro to land, I will ensure it's safe to do so. I don't need the Mavic to confirm it with it's sensors. And if it's...

You can also reduce the volume by burying the controller in loose soil or sand. :)

How can the IMU affect camera, AF, or IQ?

I did more testing... the IMU calibration didn't help after all. It's still soft on the right side. If you're interested to see what I'm seeing, you can see posts #13 and #14 here... Camera Soft on One Side - And strange video AF behaviour

How can the IMU affect camera, AF, or IQ?

Yeah, I don't like it when problems just seem to fix themselves though. More testing is required.

How can the IMU affect camera, AF, or IQ?

I've been having troubles with sharpness across the frame (soft on the right) and AF problems... someone on the DJI forum suggested I do an IMU calibration as that helped them. Being completely skeptical, I did an IMU calibration on mine this morning after letting it sit outside for an hour and...

I agree it's obnoxious as hell. Flying a drone attracts enough onlookers without having the thing beeping like you've got a ticking time bomb. It maybe a good way to clear the area but it also attracts a lot of unwanted attention. A volume control would be greatly appreciated.

    Remote stick removal confirmed

My Apple Store Mavic doesn't have sticks that come out easily and I'm not about to try using much force. What's the issue with packing them with sticks attached if it's required for them to be pushed asid to fit? Is there concern the off-axis force will somehow ruin the spring mechanism? Since...

Camera Soft on One Side - only for stills

The still was taken at 1/100. I'm not sure about the video. However, it's not camera shake. It's only soft on the right side and it's consistent from shot to shot.

Camera Soft on One Side - only for stills

No worries. I just find it odd that the stills are blurry and the video is sharp... even if the video is only using a cropped portion of the sensor, that wouldn't explain this given the stills are 4000x3000 and the video is 3860px wide so the video frame is only cropping a few pixels off each side.

Camera Soft on One Side - only for stills

I think we're saying the same thing? The blue sign is sharper in the top (still) than the bottom (video). Which means the still image is actually sharper than the video in the center of the frame... right? While the right side of the frame is clearly softer in the top (still) than the bottom...

Camera Soft on One Side - only for stills

If you look at the blue street sign in the upper left of each frame, it's actually sharper in the still image... and if I showed you the rest of the frame, you would see that the left side on the still is just as sharp as the video. I'm afraid it's not focus. I've tried a number of different...
