So after talking with support they suggested Restoring Factory defaults. I could not actually find that, BUT I did find the Restore Factory Default CAMERA settings and tried that and for some reason that worked... Not sure if it will continue to work but for now Tripod mode is back... so I guess...
My videos used to show up in the DJI GO app. Then for some reason non of my newest flights are showing up. I love to review the flight using the app. Anyone know if there is some setting that needs to be changed in order to view your recorded videos?

This is simple... nothing bad has ever happened from calibrating your expensive drone. When things have gone wrong it almost always because the drone was malfunctioning. So calibrating insures a higher chance of a successful flight. You CANT destroy your drone by permorming a calibration but...

Mine magically returned after an update... But I have no idea why it was missing in the first place... Seems like a weird glitch. Maybe try deleting the DJI Go App and re installing. Its definitely a software issue.
yeah... I feel like I just got lucky... because I was in the same boat. Its weird. I tried all those things and also was not able to get it working until that random firmware showed up.
So just yesterday I took out the Mavic and it asked me to upgrade. After it was done Tripod mode magically returned... Double check you have the latest firmware. You must have the Mavic connected to the controller and your phone with the DJI GO app running.
It appears what ever issue there...
Im having the same issue. It was there the first time I used the Mavic but now it has disappeared. Im using a iPhone 6s, the app is the latest version.
