Do you have the Pixel or Pixel XL? I have the Pixel XL and so far neither DJI GO version 3 or 4 have been working very good with it. Version 3 will load up but crash ~5-10min or so. I have the Pixel XL and after I realized I needed to unplug the short mircro USB Cable first I had no issues connecting via the bottom USB to type C and using Lichi with VR goggles.

If The Hover app is accurate it doesn't look like flying everywhere in OBX is banned. All ocean side looks to be considered national seashore, however the Sound side within city limits does not look to be.....looks like for some of your footage is at Real up in Waves which doesn't show as no fly...
