That battery turns on as shown in the video but the Mavic makes no response. I guess it makes sense the Mavic needs more voltage...

If you’re Mavic was on .700 firmware you can fly without logging in. I fly with Litchi without even having DJI GO 4 installed on my iPad. Then you wouldn’t have to do this risky job at all.

The footage just before he is shot down looks suspicious to me. The pilot obviously knows something is up. Pretty sure he is flying with full knowledge that the guy has a gun pointed at him. He is edging around trying to get footage of the guy without being hit. I hope the whole video was...

I always carry my extra batteries in the pouches on the sides of the Mavic bag included in the Fly More Combo. I put them in with the hard shell/power button facing outwards.

In my limited (don't shoot me down too hard) understanding of all the complexities of the Mavic's operational system, I would have assumed that regardless of interference with the radio frequencies, or the iron content in the rocks, it's forward facing optical OA system should still work...

No doubt just a money grab "scam", but every claim about any such "improvements" must be tested thoroughly and discussed at great length in as many threads and forums as possible. What else are we gonna do when we're not flying? ;)

Yeah I removed mine right out of the box. More than 30 cycles of batteries and no scratches on mine yet. They shouldn't put a yellow tag on it if it's not meant to be removed, although they also shouldn't make it so dang hard to remove if it's meant to be removed...

I'm super annoyed whenever I see that protective plastic film left on things in people's homes, when they're not looking I'll peel it off! lol So when I unboxed my Mavic it only took me seconds to have all them plastics taken off everything. Also... isn't it a no no to fly much with the camera...
