Mavic 3E Mapping vs Drone Deploy

I think you are looking at the Drone Deploy beta stuff. I spoke to Drone Deploy and they said that pricing for DD has yet to be determined for RTK service. I was pretty upset by the whole thing because their NTRIP service is the same NTRIP service I get for free in CA. I was told RTK would be...

RTK Will Not Reconnect After Battery Change

Yep, it has been my experience that you must restart everything after a battery change to get RTK restarted. It has always been that way for me.

Mavic 3E Mapping vs Drone Deploy

My experience with the Pilot 2 app is that it has functioned better than the Drone Deploy app ever functioned. For me, Pilot 2 has never missed a beat, never forgot where it left off at a battery change, and never hung or quit during flight. The Drone Deploy app had issues regularly. I do look...

Mavic 3E Mapping vs Drone Deploy

Drone Deploy does not support RTK yet. The Pilot 2 built in app works well and supports RTK and can be used to create images to import to Drone Deploy easily.

    M2Pro vs M3E - should i upgrade?

I've been using Pilot 2 to fly large, multi-battery, RTK mapping missions for some time now. Pilot 2 works better than the Drone Deploy flight app ever did. Pilot 2 has never missed a beat, never lost a resume point after a battery change, the app never hung or quit during flight. The Drone...

    M2Pro vs M3E - should i upgrade?

DroneDeploy beta app quit on the first flight for me with the M3E. I am currently using the Pilot 2 mapping function to fly sites now. I'm still having DD do the maps like before, but the accuracy has gotten a boost with RTK. Speed has not increased dramatically since my missions are flown at...

    Sharing Waypoint Missions

    Mavic 3 Enterprise rtk settings

This map should help you pick sites. The settings are all there. I'm still new to RTK but mine seems to work well at my location. http://sopac-adj.ucsd.edu/crtn-map/#close

    My Mavic 3 disappointment

I almost fell into the same trap as you and picked up a Mavic 3. Just dumb luck that I didn't. Hopefully it's water under the bridge now but makes you cautious about buying the next new DJI drone. I did just get a 3E since they claim it is for mapping and has RTK.

Best place to purchase Mavic 3 Enterprise

I just purchased a 3E from Advexture. Ordered Tuesday and it arrived Wednesday. What's not to like?

How to charger 5 batteries in 60 min

Storage charge and storage discharge are two different things. In a perfect world, one would never need to discharge a full battery, but stuff happens. It would be nice to have a charger that would do both.

How to charger 5 batteries in 60 min

That would definitely work, I just didn't have the appropriate female jack and didn't want to wait.

How to charger 5 batteries in 60 min

I sacrificed on of the charge cables to my Yx charger to connect to a ISDT FD-100 discharger. I could have just made an adaptor for the discharger but didn't have the female plug, but, I only have 3 MM batteries anyway. This setup automatically discharges to 60% and stops on it own in 5 or 10...

Repeat same aerial shot once a week, annually, for my own timelapse sequence

I have done this sort of thing, it is a huge pain in the *** in the long run. In short, I picked a point on the ground that was not likely to change in the time frame. Fly straight up a specified distance and point at a landmark that will not change. Remember, it that much time you may be using...
