Hi there - it's covered while using the drone, but only for accidental damage. So operator error is covered, but mechanical failure isn't, as far as I can tell.

So glad to have discovered this thread. I too missed the 48 hour deadline for DJI care, and glad that I did. Got my fly more combo covered for theft and accidental damage, with a £50 excess for only £45 per year! Thanks all for the heads up!

Happy today - just collected my Mavic Fly More from drones direct!! (4 months, 1 week after ordering!!!!). The guy there said they had -220 in stock, which I take to mean that's how many unfulfilled orders are left to send out while they wait for more stock! As happy as I am to have it now...

Same here, and the fact that cancelling would cost me around £100 owing to the price difference. Also, all teething problems with manufacture should, by now, be resolved.

I'm sure it will over the next few days, m8. It's strange - after waiting since mid October I'm almost resigned to never receiving my Mavic. When it does eventually arrive, I'll be utterly surprised. The things you do to save less then £100!

My drones direct Fly More order (placed on Oct 19th!!) has just gone from "Awaiting Stock" to "Awaiting Despatch", so I'm hoping they have stock now, too.... (not holding breath)

Well, I arrived at this thread a little late in the day, but ended up reading it from start to finish. Best thing I've read online for ages. My faith in humanity is restored - huge kudos to those who helped retrieve the drone. Not got my Magic yet, but already really happy to be a part of this...

You're correct. Not as good a deal as I thought. I'm losing faith in Drones Direct, as their marketing is obviously misleading.

Anyone ordered from Drones Direct and received anything yet? I ordered their "Ultimate Bundle" - basically a Fly More, but with a third battery - back on 19th October and they're currently estimating March delivery!! The cost was only £1247, so it represents a substantial saving over current...
