I'd like to see your setup for holding the transmitter.

has anyone done a comparison of this bag and the DJI sling? It appears to be significantly larger, but it has a lot more features as well.

The drones and music thing, I understand. They can have an effect on the animals. But the selfie sticks can only have an effect on other people. This is another desperate attempt to make true the lie that civility, manners, empathy, etc. can be legislated.

Seems like this may be the issue:

Does "home" always have to be where the Mavic took off, or can "home" be where the transmitter is when conducting an RTH? If I move locations while the Mavic is inflight, I'd rather an RTH bring it to me rather than where it took off.

I was flying in follow me mode and video transmission was lost. I back tracked to find the manic just hovering. I landed it and brought it home. An hour later, I started up the mavic and it worked perfectly. It recorded video the entire time video transmission was black. Any idea?

So, do I want to upgrade to .8000 or not? Am I restricting myself if I do? Can I not use non-DJI apps to fly? Is there any real benefit from the upgrade? I've been trying to understand this issue, but there is so much arguing about internet connections and such that it begins to turn into...

I guess I was lucky. I just went to several retailer websites and clicked "notify me". Best buy notified me a couple days later (last week), I ordered and got my goggles 2 days later. They are now sold out again.

Your assumptions may be valid if all aggressor drones were Phantoms.
