I flew 1 battery this weekend with no issues. I used the supplied cable from the side port to an iPhone 7+. Between my last failed flight and this flight I took the following steps:
Fresh installation of the Go App
Deleted the Go App from the phone (both versions - 3 & 4)
Backed up the phone...
I had the same issue this morning with the same configuration. The only difference is I had a 7+ instead of a 7. I'll be interested to hear whether using the other port makes a difference. I won't have a chance to try again until the weekend.
I've been on the fence, but given that I fly a lot over water and they exclude crashes where water is involved, I'm going to skip it. From the description:

Argh. My Mavic is sitting at the local FedEx facility about 2 miles folks my house, but they won't deliver it until Monday. I asked if I could go pick it up, but they said that it wouldn't be unpacked from the arrival container until Monday. So close, yet so far away...

Thanks for the info. I also ordered a fly more bundle on 9/29 (already on the spreadsheet). I leave the country Saturday night so there is no hope for me. I'll be lucky if it's here when I get back. Yes, I have someone to receive while I'm away.
