Apparently it's a known issue... the range is very limited with the goggles at the moment. Apparently using the antenna can *help* (but not entirely solve) the range, but hopefully they sort it all out via firmware. I get max range of about 1200ft with the goggles, and several miles without.

No issues with my MP (only ~5 hours of flight though, but across several countries/continents, in varied conditions). Had the Inspire 1 before and it was a techno-nightmare compared to the MP. I'd [somewhat] gladly take the IQ hit for the size/reliability of the little MP. Here's to hoping my...

Not only no problems, but the Mavic's obstacle avoidance saved itself big time this week. I was shooting the northern shores of France (cliffs), and launched from a beach cove, but forgot to change the return to home altitude (already higher than stock but not high enough for the cliffs)...

Another report here for a day early in ship times (Fedex)... Ordered FMC evening of 10-02-2016 and was slated to arrive to arrive tomorrow morning but arrived this morning instead. Have those signature release notes ready in advance!

Sounds like I'm part of the bulk shipment today... my Fly More combo from Oct 2 (evening) has just been shipped with tracking info. Guess they're moving along faster than I expected!

Because seriously, I don't say howdy... Current Inspire 1 pilot (I recall the pre-order of that beast going a lot more smoothly than this one), and future Mavic pilot. Switching it up because my run-and-gun style of shooting/filming needs the portability of the Mavic! Hoping to have it in...
