Thanks. Doubtful DJI will reveal the root cause, just probably replace drone & RC. If ever I do get to bottom of it I'll post update.

When you say "map may not be as detailed right now as other devices" do you mean the map is in Chinese? That was the issue I was having. detail was fine. Also, Did you update the glasses as prompted? Without the update the glasses work perfectly, no Chinese. I agree with everything else you say...
