Gotcha! I tried various alternative setups with mine and have settled on the Phantom CS mount in the PGY bracket.

If you using the DJI mounts, the adaptor plate that is fitted to the crystal sky is mechanically the same thing, just a different finish.

Did you unplug the phone cable from the micro USB port as if you leave it in, disables the lower usb port?

I also have this and the uploaded flight records are just listed as Map Loading. I have off line maps saved and fly tethered to a hotspot.

Produce as a local output file to the resolution and bandwidth you want, and then upload post production.

There is a deviation on the heading which a calibration resolves, which is the reason for wanting to be able to recalibrate easily. The extent of the deviation depends on the batteries fitted at the time.

PGY, cases are aluminium, but the cells are steel.

There are times when I need to fly with lights attached. These are metal and affect the compass, and therefore, require a recalibration before flight. Like wise when they are removed, the reference has changed, and again requires a calibration.

Just wondering how you summon up the compass dance genie with the Crystalsky? When I used to fly with a phone, I could do it before each flight, but with the CS you get the compass status, but no option to calibrate it Wondering what people do. Mike.

Try a normal USB A to C cable and use the port on the bottom of the controller. Remember to unplug and cable in the micro USB port on the controller.

Just tried to update and controller from theCS (with its latest update) and unable to download the firmware to the CS to carry out the update, despite being attached to the aircraft and the home WiFi. Resorted back to my iPad to do the update.

You can unlock from your phone and then use it as a hotspot to update the registration.

Just tested today and all worked as expected. Need to unlock before flight and login on CS before you fly. Confirm by checking your unlock registrations.
