Good point. If you already threw out the gimbal clamp, it's not a huge deal. You can still hold the lens with one hand and put on filter or clean with the other. But the gimbal clamp makes it so much easier.

The camera on these drones are so tiny that it hardly matters. The only time it might matter is if you do a side by side, on a 75" TV, sitting 5 feet from it. On the same token, I don't think the P4P takes better videos than MP even though it has better specs. These are, IMHO, minimal difference...

I use it without a tablet holder. Just straight on to the controller, much like how you would a smartphone. Fits great.

I owned an iPad Mini 4 before I bought the Mavic. After buying the Mavic, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (SM-T710) specifically for the Mavic. Samsung S2 is much better than the iPad Mini 4. And if you sideload the DJI Go app ;), then it is SO MUCH BETTER than the iPad Mini 4.
