With the COVID lockdown I haven't flown in a while and probably won't for a while longer, and it's occured to me that for several months my Mavic has been sitting in my closet with a battery inside it. Is it a bad thing to leave a battery installed in an unused drone for long periods of time...
The side of the hotel I want to film faces east, so it'll be in the morning. Less wind in the morning, too, or so I'm told. And I doubt the hotel would even let me up there alone.
And I want to run my plan by some other pilots first and get some second opinions on whether it sounds reasonably safe.

If you're flying under part 107, you don't need to notify an airport that's in class G. However, when I'm flying that close to one, I call them anyway.
Most of those "heliports" don't actually exist any more. I talked to the SFPD and they're (or at least, the officer who manages their inactive heliport is) cool with me flying.
This just changed to "Shipped." No further information. No tracking number, no ETA, no shipping company. If anyone needs me, I'll be madly refreshing this page for the next few hours.
@TopQuark, it looks like a bunch of data got accidentally deleted from the spreadsheet. The "raw data" page used to show far more orders and also no longer shows which ones have been shipped. What happened?
Judging from the spreadsheet, yours is the last DJI direct order to ship. Also it's the only one on the 29th or 30th to ship. Now, is that because nobody else from those two days has replied to the thread, or did you just get really lucky?
