Im going to be flying with a friend of mine in the morning. Im going to be using my MP to film my friend trying to fly his MP, MP Platinum and MP2 Zoom all at once. Should be interesting. I think we will be at Craig Ranch Park.
Ill stick with the "If it aint broke don't fix it" mentality and stick with my Mavic. It serves my needs just fine so there is really no incentive for me to upgrade at the moment.
I've always stayed just off to the side of the locomotives to keep the Mavic out of the exhaust and then slowly moved over the center. I never really filmed from too far away so Its easy to see just how far the Mavic is above the moving train. Signal bridges and road overpasses are good to use...
I was out his morning flying around the hood taking in the morning sunrise and the view of the city waking up and I brought it back down to make some camera adjustments as it was getting brighter out. I had the Mavic hovering in front of me at around 8 feet when suddenly a large flying bug...
I think I speak not only for myself but for a lot of people here that Thunderdrones can do wonderful things to a damaged drone. It would surly be worth it to at least have him take a look at it. He got my wounded bird back in the air good as new :)Thumbswayup
