other thing i found, the camera makes red dots on raw pictures which a high contrast difference (ex sunset). dji cleaner program helps, but im bothered its still a problem (this also exists on the P4)
yeah my point is that even 100W is cheap, 400W for a 4 way parallel charger would be nice. I've a 500 and a 1000W power supply for similar high power charger.
on the flip side, i pack the 50W of the fly more combo inside the bag. i suspect 100W wouldnt fit, let alone anything bigger. ideally...
i dont know man, but the battery charging indicator clearly charges one at a time until 100% full but maybe theres something i dont know, like a specifc thing to do.
also the charger is indeed 50W, so it charges at 1C. 100W would be nice (2C charging is still quite low and safe yet twice faster...
Note that on most android phones that are rooted you can disable usb charging with
$ echo 0 > /sys/class/power_supply/usb/device/charge
there's some apps also running the command for you like Disable ADB USB Charging ROOT - Android Apps on Google Play
i've a z3 compact - snapdragon 801 (note 4 would be a snapdragon 805 if US version). not a huge diff i think. latency is definitely not bad, just not as low as on an ipad i tried it on (ipad mini 2). for slow flying it makes almost no difference, but i kinda like the lower latency.
I'm probably...
it wont take off if its never been calibrated (and will show vision calibration required)
true, i dont have enough flights to be sure but the controller battery seemed to go quite fast. I suspect it might go empty after 4-5 full flights. Might be why they provide a thing to charge the tx from...
note that they charge one by one, even with the 4 ways charger. so you can swap a battery after you flew another one - having 5 won't charge "faster" due to that.
also it takes 1h20 (80min) to charge a battery and theres about 20min of flight time per battery (4*20=80min flight time total), so...
I suppose this could interest some people so I'm putting this out there:
- the vision system needed full calibration with the DJI assistant (just follow the phantom 4 instructions, since mavic ones aren't up yet). I suspect they rushed it out of the factory and forgot to do it?
-total amount...
I've the flymore and the bag is indeed quite small. everything fits snuggly no real issue, but if you want to put anything else than your 3 or 4 batts and accessories in the bag you're out of luck :)
the bag is also indeed of high quality (this is my best looking bag lol). waterproof zippers...
yep did all
i suspect its due to my 720p phone screen and that somehow it doesnt register the button - not sure
i noticed vision calibration also does nothing (but i can calibrate on pc with the assistant/full calibration)
