Ordered my Mini-4 3 days ago from DJI Store and arrived today in the WY mountains ... charging.
Never gotten one that fast from Amazon!! And, "Express Delivery" was included in price.
EXACTLY same problem w. first flight of BRAND NEW Mini-3, but into tree branches, damaging the drone. Returned drone to DJI and they confirmed that drone moved forward in ATTI mode w/o any command, and drone did not respond to rearward stick command. I hover at about 6’ waiting for GPS lock in...
I’m going w. Amazon from now on too. Had DOA Mini 3 that wondered off into a tree on first flight right after all calibration … not responding to controls, and verified by DJI. Drone was delivered while on a trip so not flown for a couple of weeks, but first flight a few minutes after...
I think all the smaller DJI drones will shut off their motors if you simply tip the drone 90 deg. in any direction, which would be easy w. your 'handle'
There may be something unique about the Mavic Pro battery, as I've been storing DJI, and many other drones', batteries at 100% for as long as drones have been sold in the US .. and this is the first time I've had a problem. I've got some Phantom drones that I haven't flown for a several years...
Well, may have been a false alarm ... I left one of the batteries on the single-battery charger overnight and voila .. fully charged .. so now will do the same for the rest ... Doesn't make sense that you have to store the battery at 60% if it is going to auto-discharge in a few days to 60% ...
I have a couple of Mavic Pro drones that I have not flown for a year … and, along w. other DJI drones, I’ve been going through and updating firmware… and charging batteries and test flying them. None of the five Mavic batteries will charge, either individually or on the 4 battery group charger...
Make sure you check the Reg's for the area(s) you will be flying in, and, if possible, have a copy printed out, or on your phone, to show anyone who questions you ... Most locals do not have a clue re. the Reg's ... Just returned from Chile, which has EXTREMELY tight rules now .. but found some...
Would be great if someone would list the DJI models that support true autonomous flight w. Litchi, and those that use “virtual sticks” … and ones that might move to autonomous flight… Tex!
They’re not “autonomous”!! For all but earliest DJI drones Litchi just records the flight plan in the RC Controller, and sends commands sequentially during the flight. The RC is in constant communication w. the drone. If lost then RTH is executed.
Flew mine for the first time yesterday w. the motion controller. .. awesome!! Use the DJI Flight Simulator on your iPhone, using the goggles and motion controller first though!!
