It's good. No issues to report. It flies well and the image quality from the camera is great. I'm coming from a Mini 3 Pro and so the upgrade is only slight to me.
The main upgrade for me is the RC2 with its better antennas, HDMI output, and snappier speed.
I use the Xreal Air glasses for this at the moment. Works briliantly. Also, with the Xreal Beam addon, I can pin the FPV display in mid air in front of me so that when I look away, I can see my surroundings.
If the MC was the best way to fly FPV, don't you think pro FPV racers would be using something similar?
It's a gimmick to make FPV more accessible to people who can't fly properly with sticks. Which is completely fine, but at least give us the option to use something else.
When used with the goggles, only DJI RC Motion 2 is supported for flight control, other remote controllers cannot be used to control the aircraft.
Well, that sucks. Why did they do this? I don't want to use the stupid motion controller thingie.
Does it matter? We're not supposed to fly BVLOS anyway.
I flew a few laps of my house last night and the signal was stronger than with the Mini 3 Pro for sure. I used to get the occasional drop out when turning the craft. Not with Mini 4.
Never mind. I’m an idiot. You have to have the glasses plugged in when you power on the RC2. Just plugging them in does nothing.
It’s awesome by the way. Massive 300” screen in front of my face.
I just tried this with my RC2 and my Xreal Air AR glasses. No joy.
The glasses are expecting USB-C DP video and it looks like the RC2 only outputs HDMI over USB-C from what I can see. Gutted.
Unless I’m missing something and I need to turn the output on or something.
Morning Skyreat
I will have my Mini 4 Pro today and am interested in testing and reviewing your products. I did a forum post, Amazon review, and a various social media posts for your Mini 3 Pro products (Shoulder bag, prop saver, and filter set). I'm in the UK.
I don't seem to be able to DM...
