Couldn't agree more. Took my Mavic out a few times recently and buildings, roads, people etc were almost crystal clear......whereas flying over trees results in a big mushy mess and unusable footage.

Just got mine back from DJI, they replaced the camera and gimbal and so I took it out for a quick flight this morning. In sub zero temps, around -2C to -3C I used a full battery and got 20 mins of footage and........success !!! No jelly.....no wavy lines.....at all !!! Sent from my iPhone...

I worked with DJI support to try and fix the jello issue but they couldn't solve it, so they asked me to send it in for repair. I have just received notification that they have replaced the camera and gimbal, so hopefully that will fix it.

It was about 4C and I walked for about an hour with the Mavic in my backpack before flying, so would be acclimatized by then....but the jello was still there :(

Well I got excited when i saw the latest firmeware.......but even after upgrading I still have the jello issues So I contacted support for the first time and they asked me to downgrade the firmware recalibrate IMU and gimbal and try again.....!!!

I have had intermittent jello problems. It only seems to occur in colder conditions, or particularly when I initially use the Mavic straight from the warmth of the car. For example, when I flew yesterday in cold weather (1-2C) for the first 10-15 mins, lots of jello.......for the final 10 mins...

Thanks. Yeah i didn't fly when the helicopter was around, even though it was the other side of the valley. Better to be safe than sorry. Oh and it's my wife not my daughter haha..... Sent from my iPhone using MavicPilots

Thanks for the comments guy. The portability is awesome, you never notice you are even carrying it. I have wanted a drone for years, but didn't want to lug around a Phantom.........so as soon as the Mavic was released, I was one of the first in the queue. And Rockydog, there is a soundtrack on...

My first 'proper' flight with my Mavic was in the mountains of North Wales. A couple of scary moments, but I am happy with the results.

Yeah.....its was a bit scary doing my first drone flight over water......especially when i lost contact when it was in the middle of the Humber and we lost sight of it for a couple of mins !!! :oops::oops::eek::eek:

It's small....less than a foot square....and maybe 4" or 5" deep........

I know most of you guys are still waiting.......but hang in there its worth the wait. Video of my first ever drone flight.

You must be in the next batch.......i ordered on the 29th and mine was shipped earlier this week. Mike was early on 30th and his was shipped today. Jessops are only receiving 2 or 3 a week by the sounds of it, so you should be next !!
