No practice needed.
I think some people think flying these is as technical and difficult as RC Planes.
You can take the maverick out to your driveway, launch it up 10 feet. Go inside eat a sandwich and come back out and it will be right where you left it. Go back in, take a nap and it will be...
What GerdS said.
Why don't you question the "Idiots" to use your terminology that wrote the article. 99% it wasn't a drone. But lots of people take the click bait as you just did.
No, it doen't "lock" in on the target to focus... It sets a focus distance. So typically if you focus on a far off spot you are setting to focus on infinity and most everything is going to be in focus all the time. Unless obviously you fly in close to something.
Then why didn't you say that? Also... He didn't ask about "what permission is required when fly within class D airspace"... If you scroll up you can re read his message.
Haven't been to Fork in years... Good luck on the fishing, I assume it is good as it has always been.

Just the typical guilty till proven innocent that goes on around here.
Hard drives are cheap... Add a few dedicated drives for footage.
My computer has dual 500G SSD drives. I will prob ad some multi terabit mechanical drive for footage storage. And use an empty partion on one of my SSD's to edit.
I would never store them in the cloud especially if data...
The carbon fiber with hollow internal honeycomb structure is even faster and longer flight.
Those are 8330FHIH if you can find them. So far hard to find outside of N Korea.
