Post your best Photo From Mavic

Thanks! the video is a timelapse shot at 2/3 second, f2.8, iso 100. I pulled out the shadows in post but that’s about it.

2 Pro The Mavic 2 pro is amazing at Long Exposure Photography. Please post your long exposure shots and let us know your settings.

It would be awesome if our drones could do 30 second exposures. For now, I’m happy they can do 8.

    Bay Area Pilots Sound Off

I am fully aware of the rules and risks and pay careful attention to low flying helos. I fly under sanctioned CBO rules with appropriate lighting.

    Bay Area Pilots Sound Off

I use waypoints primarily and only two of them. Any more and you’d see weird motion in the middle of the hyperlapse.

Mavic 2 Pro Photos from the desert

Here’s another shot from the Eastern Sierras. Shot from the ground this time in the John Muir Wilderness as drones are not allowed here.

My MP2 Pro has no problems with long exposures unless it is very windy. Maybe your compass needs calibration?

    Night Flying

For photos, I shoot at ISO100, F2.8, 1/2-1 second exposure. I've also shot at ISO100, F4.5 for 4-8 seconds for long exposure photos.

Mavic 2 Pro Photos from the desert

I do some minor editing on my iphone 8. Mainly reduce highlights, increase black levels and minor bump to saturation. I also use PS but these were done on the phone

My mavic 2 Vision Sensor Calibration Error

Yeah I get the **** compass error almost every flight these days, even after calibrating it. For the most part it doesn’t seem to affect anything.
