Mini 2 Anglesey, North Wales... What a Place!

I think it was around late March

Mini 2 More fun than my mavic or my mini…

So I thought I’d give the DJI FPV a go… man, it’s a challenge learning to fly its “manual” mode. Video and photography isn’t ideal on it like my mini 2 but wow, is it fun to fly! Check out my first flight with some flips and stuff here! I’m on the PFV pilots site too now!

Chances of Mini 2 Surviving a Bird Strike?

Thanks for the responses guys. Especially good idea just heading up when I see the birds heading towards the drone.

Chances of Mini 2 Surviving a Bird Strike?

Hi, I recently flew my Mini 2 and got real close to a bird strike (video:0:28) and wondered, assuming the Mini survived the fall and didn't land in water, what is the likelihood of a bird being able to totally destroy the drone, damage being beyond the props being wrecked? Also, if this did...

Mini 2 Wild Camping, Yorkshire Dales, Views From The Mini 2 Were Amazing!

Went "Wild Camping" up North and the surroundings were nice. But like on many occasions, putting the Mini 2 a couple hundred feet up shows the surrounds beyond "nice". I threw together some of the clips I recorded and uploaded them on youtube. Hope you guys like them!

Mini Found an Abandoned Quarry With My Drone!

I have driven the same road for years in my area. The other day I took a side road (no rest stops during lockdown!) and I spotted an old quarry! Not just that but it looked amazing, like nothing I have seen in my area before. It looks near impossible to get into but luckily I had my drone on me...

Mini RAF Greenham Common - USAF, RAF, Star Wars & Nukes... Sounds Perfect To Fly!

I know, right! Great place to fly, just make sure you keep that distance from the cattle and others. Site's massive so it's easy to avoid them :)

    Mini Wilder's Folly, Reading, England

It’s growing on the roof. Inside there is a rounded ceiling. Guessing over the years some birds must of dropped seeds up there!

    Mini Wilder's Folly, Reading, England

Thanks for the feedback, I thought the same but I have been told that some of my videos I don’t hold it long enough. Guess I need to find that middle ground! The Wikipedia page was great to read, reminds me how rich our heritage is, one minute you’re out for a walk, next moment you’re staring at...

    Mini Wilder's Folly, Reading, England

So, in my countryside walks (lockdown is so exciting), we found this - Wilder's Folly. Not the most exciting thing in the world but the decay on it gives it some real character. Looking it up online, it's surprisingly older than I thought it would be when I saw it in person. Seems like a busy...

Mini RAF Greenham Common - USAF, RAF, Star Wars & Nukes... Sounds Perfect To Fly!

Respect to our armed forces and all of our allies! Have a lot of pride being an army reservist myself!

Mini RAF Greenham Common - USAF, RAF, Star Wars & Nukes... Sounds Perfect To Fly!

So I was browsing the Phantom pilots forum and came across "RAF Greenham Common" which is now abandoned and good to fly and happened to be near where I was staying for work. Turns out really good to fly. It also has an interesting history of being a joint airforce base (US/UK) and used to house...

Mini This is as good as it good in 2020 (Mini 2 video)...

Thanks! I think that it is maybe the levels compression YouTube? Check this out - explains the way it works quite nicely. Always crank the quality up on the video as high as you connection allows :) Disclaimer: It may be that I ruined it a bit in Final Cut X? I'm no pro at editing (I work in...
