I live near César Chávez park and fly there occasionally. Mostly I see kites and RC flyers, but occasionally other drone pilots are there. Will probably go fly this weekend and test out the new FPV drone.
It’s 2019 and they’ve learned how to encode video more efficiently. HEVC/H.265 (high efficiency video codec) is nothing more than a newer version of video compression. So 100Mbps is still 100Mbps. But it is a little bit more hardware intensive.
It’s still worthwhile to record in a higher bit...
I use the bottom USB port when connecting an iPad to the controller. DJIs Ground Station Pro software only runs on the iPad. It’s not possible to use the side connector with an iPad
An iPhone or iPad is no where near as bright as a CrystalSky. There’s a night and day difference. Too bad the DJI GO 4 on the CS need an update to take full advantage of the Mavic 2.
The CrystalSky technically does work with the Mavic 2. If you select Mavic Pro from the interface the DJI 4 Go app will connect to the Mavic 2, however it won’t have all of the Mavic 2 specific features available.
