    DJI Price Increase

Just checked the USA price and it's still $999 Current conversion rate ($-£) makes USA price £804.01. In others words, DJI are treating the UK like idiots. (Not just Mavic - all products gone up in DJI store)

What kind of case are you getting for your Mavic?

I have a space ready for when my Mavic arrives. Bag is a Minshift Backlight for anyone interested... Camera Bag by David Black, on Flickr

    UK Insurance

Not at all. My policy also covers my cameras (£10k) and everything is also covered when left in a locked vehicle. I pay £23 per month.

    UK Insurance

On the subject of Public Liability insurance, it seems the two main providers in the UK are either FPV UK or the BMFA. Which would people recommend?

    Camera filters

Yep, was just about to reply (you edited your original post whilst I was checking my policy). We were at crossed purposes and you're right, no public liability (so I'll join a club for this). When I read your original reply, I thought you meant drones are not covered at all (and panicked lol)...

    UK Insurance

I only took this policy out yesterday, and was advised that my drone was covered to £1000. I have the documents, and it appears I'm covered up to £2000. am I missing something? photoguard by David Black, on Flickr

    UK Insurance

Same as above, I've gone with Photoguard (as I have my camera gear insured with them as well) Doubt any home insurance policy would cover business use. I know mine doesn't for camera gear, let alone a drone.

    Where to buy (UK)?

I went with Photoguard. They have a good rep on photography forums.

    Where to buy (UK)?

I've pre-ordered from Hobbymounts as they are my local dealer as well. For me it's about aftercare. I have far more faith that my local dealer will sort any issues that I may have, than I do in buying from an oversea's company where UK consumer law means nothing. An alternative to Refresh...
