84 flights = overconfidence = first crash!

Im thinking that your gimbal plate bracket is broken where the camera attaches to it. Does your gimbal just hang loose? It might be that your rubber dampers just popped out of the top plate, and are letting it hang lower than normal.

Now that you have me looking at it closer, I used a magnifying glass and a bright light. It all looks good, just popped out rubber. Thanks for that photo of the photo of the plate it helped.

Yes I ship to Canada all the time, no problem.

First things first, power it up and see what error messages you get. Then you can check out this video on top cover removal and gimbal repair. You might not have to repair the gimbal at all, depending on error messages.

Great thanks for the help. I'll get at it tomorrow when I get home from work.

sad day, your Mavic needs Viagra

DJI will be expensive. Check google in your area to see if anyone near you repairs DJI drones. Or just order the parts online and DIY.

I had my first tree encounter a few weeks back, too. I had let myself become a bit reckless showing my kids how fast sport mode is, and underestimated braking distance. Lesson learned. (By the way, braking distance can be shortened to 2/3 by pulling up simultaneously, as I figured out later. Plus, you can possibly avoid the obstacle by ascending anyway.)

Also damaged a limb. Sent it to DJI, and although it took 3 weeks, costs weren't too bad: 83€ including a new limb, worktime, taxes and shipping.

Over confidence got me too to the time of $311.00. That's how we learn. It used to be that crashing was all part of the hobby. A little glue, a little balsa wood or foam and we were good to go. Boy has that aspect changed.
