Is in the line of P2,P3 an idea to call the Mavic Pro MP for short?

That's a good point! I'd say MP is going to be the way to go.

We've been saying "MP" around here. It can't simply be "M1" as that is typically short for the Matrice 100, "M6" for Matrice 600. MP it is! :D

I like "Mav"....the associations are more fun than Market Price, Military Police, or Mac Pro:

Ed, as far as I know there is not a Mavic Standard yet. This should be a cheaper WiFi version only (without controller?).
I would call the Mavic Standard MS, Like the P3S, etc.

The lower cost Mavic is M1S and the Mavic Pro is M1P according to FCC model designations.

Then why did we announce it at the Mavic Pro introduction along with its price?

I've been calling it the MP but for the sake of communication we could go with MPro or simply MPr. But what I really "prefer" to call it is "mine"... ;-)
