Adding a LIKE to a post...

I have noticed a new phenomenon on this here forum people asking to give a 'like' if you noticed or read their post whats that all about?

now forgive me if I am wrong here, as a kid I was brought up to say please and thank you and have taught my kids to do this when applicable so why do folks feel the need to ask for them?

or am I mistaken and its a 'I wanna be liked' first world problem thing? I blame social media why do people feel the need for everyone to like what they say?

good manners yes but I feel too many people are snowflakes and feel the need!

I often wish there was an 'unlike' button lol
