If a person from another country wanted to bring their drone to the US and fly, what's required to do it legally? FAA registration beforehand? What about insurance? Is AMA membership with its insurance adequate and applicable? Anything else recommended or required?

That person will need to register with the FAA here before flying. Other than placing the FAA number on the drone and having a copy of the registration on hand, nothing else is required.

A spaceship ET. A spaceship. And all launches must be from Roswell NM or Area 51

They have to go to Oskosh and take the "most original aircraft " trophy. If I were the aliens my first location would be Grover Mills, NJ. See if any of my kind survived that disastrous 1939 landing.
