It is possible for me to use a .pdf map with geo referencing to navigate my MP? My clients provide me with a .pdf map of my contract work which provides a lot of valuable information, including site boundaries. It would be a great tool to be able to fly these areas and gather information from the sky prior to working and as a post work inspection tool. I am using android.

why can't u just cache the google maps? they expire after 30 days, but seems better than pdf

It seems from the OP post that it would save time and be more efficient to just take the format that is provided him (.pdf in this case) and just use those data coordinates to easily import into a program that will interpret the data provided in the .pdf and allow his to fly those coordinates with boundaries in tact.

Have you investigted the DataMapper website to determine if they have a direct import tool or a fairly simple way to convert ?
