Backwards flight in Active Track vs Follow Me

Hey guys,
So I have my drone setup to not fly backwards in Active Track as I don't want it flying into a tree when I'm not controlling it. And yet in my video below, I am using Follow Me in the shot at 1:49 and the drone starts flying backwards, narrowly avoiding a tree.

The 'enable backwards flight' toggle seems to only reference Active Track.

Is this expected behaviour? I.E - if using Follow Me, the drone will fly backwards regardless of settings?

Might have to avoid Follow Me if that's the case.

That was tight indeed. It clearly looks that flying backwards applies for active track only because the follow me function doesn't work optical it simply follows the GPS location of the connected device.

Besides beautiful movie, nice storyline. A nice mix of drone and regular shots. The score supports it to be positive and easy. Stunning views!

It seems very inconsistent that backwards flight can be disabled in one mode but not the other.
