Can i take my drone intro Canada (by air)

I'm flying to canada in a few days from europe (flying onto toronto).
Can I take my mavic pro into canada without problem?

I took my drone into south amerika a few months ago (in its professional casing, which i stupidly didnt hide in a platic bag) and they started to charge me import taxes etc.

Should I prepare anything when taking to mavic into canada (any papers required?)
Can I expect import taxes?
Am I even alowed to take it into canada?

Should be no import taxes into Canada for your drone if you're leaving with it again. You are allowed to bring it into Canada. Look at the new drone laws for Canada here.... The batteries must be in you carry on. Read your airlines rules on transporting batteries, they may have to be partially drained and properly stored.

Take note of your altitude on the plane, you can then honestly say you've had your Mavic up to 10000 metres !
