This weekend while up in the mountains I was flying my Mavic while a friend was flying his P3P. Our house is in a rural area with effectively no interference and at approximately 3,000' from an altitude perspective. While flying the P3P just randomly started falling from the sky and I actually captured everything but the start of the fall.
Would someone please review and let me know what you think could have gone wrong? From a novice's perspective it looks like mechanical failure but would appreciate this group's thoughts. Fortunately, we were able to locate it and luckily it landed in a pile of brush avoiding many trees. Surprisingly after falling ~150' the drone sustained very little damage except the propellers broke.
