Cant connect

I have used my Mavic with my android phone. I just got an android tablet but it isn't automatically connecting when I turn on the devices, says aircraft not connected. Am I missing something simple?? Any ideas?

First thing, I assume the phone was originally connected with the side connectors. When using a tablet it usually goes through the bottom RC USB port, that means the side port on the RC has to be completely disconnected, just leaving the small lead in the side port makes the USB not work.

Nope not that my android always connected thru the bottom. There is nothing attached to the left side as of now.....

Ok, I am not familiar with Android as I use IPad, sorry.

Open DJI app then plug in tablet...that's what I did and it worked.

What Android tablet are you using? If its an older tablet then it might not be supported.

I just got it the other day I believe it a vk810 4G android version 5.0.2
