I had a similar problem when I first set up my Mavic with an iPhone 6. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I used the DJI Assistant software on my Mac to upgrade the firmware on the Mavic, batteries and controller. Once I had the latest software/firmware the Mavic loaded without any problems.

Open your DJI Assistant software, then plug straight into your Mavic..

Download the Assistant 2 software from here Mavic – Specs, FAQ, Tutorials and Downloads and connect your Mavic to your Mac or PC using the supplied USB cable you can then complete the update this way, remember to also connect the controller to complete the controller update.

Once you have done this if you have extra batteries then shutdown everything and restart the drone and controller with your mobile connected with your extra battery plugged into the Mavic and this will update the battery firmware repeat this for each extra battery.
