Car Charger - Only works when voltage is above 13V

Hey guys, I am going to use my Mavic on the field and I was planning to use a car battery to recharge my batteries. I have the Mavic Car Charger and I was planning to make an adaptation to connect it to the car battery... Is it a crazy idea? Is the car battery's Amp to high to do this? Or it won't work because of the 13v thing? Help please!!

The amps wont be too high, the connected device limits the current flow to what is needed. The voltage will be too low though (12.6 volts open circuit, less under load) , have you considered using your mains power adapter with an inverter on the battery??
