CHEAP AND NASTY BAG (and i don't mean the Mrs)

Do DJI think they are going to sell any of them bags for £75 ? I mean they make the best looking drone on the market and spoil it with a very cheap and nasty bag. I am going for my own bag to carry mine in. Their bag looks like the one's you can buy in China for about £6 lady's bag.

I think it should work fine. I'm into wearing 511 6 pocket pants and also their shirts and really don't even need a bag in a jam .

So far as I can see one of the plus points of Mavic is not particularly needing a specialised bag since it folds down to a fairly regular brick shape.
Any larger camera bag would probably be quite suitable or perhaps a more general purpose shoulder bag or backpack with other bits and pieces in with it

Same, as it comes with the bundle anyway. I will only be adding a Pelican case once I get the drone and can do the cutouts, but it wont be for everyday use, only travel.

Pride is a bit of an odd emotion to experience because of a bag your purchased and use, just sayin'.

The DJI bag, while it doesnt specifically have any statement to waterproofing, does look to have water resistant zippers for the main compartment, and the fold-over does lend itself to being OK for use to get out of the rain. I would not submerge it, but would not think twice about using it to carry in the rain. The external pockets are not, in any way, protected from moisture - they are mesh. Though the main compartment looks like it will offer suitable protection. Until I get my own hands on it, I can only guess.

That being said, neither is the camo bag linked above.

And your first statement is a little weird, just sayin'.

And, being a motorcycle rider, there is nothing out there in affordable consumer range that is ever 100% waterproof.

I just ordered the drone only as with the saving you could buy more battery's means more flying.

I wanted everything in the Fly More package (2 batteries, 12 volt charger, charging hub, extra rotors, etc.) anyway so I look at the bag as just being a freebie. If it turns out to be nice then great and if it doesn't... meh...

And besides, why would anyone comment on the quality of 'them bags' when they've never even held one?

Actually I bought the LowePro Sling 150, got it today and it is PERFECT, the width of the pockets is 8.5" just a little larger than the Mavic is at 8", depth is 5", and the Mavic is 3.5. The other pockets, both inside and out, will fit all of the other stuff + from the Fly more kit, all padded with moveable partitions, a separate zippered tablet slot and an easy carry-on. Not bad for $33 on sale.

Tesco one is IP54 rated but the Harrod's one is IP56 (no holes).
