Color grading / problem with LUTs?

Got back from my trip and have DJI mavic D-log footage (and gopro protune footage) and I found some LUTs from groundcontrol, but I find that it makes my video super saturated and the darker areas are crushed.

I'm very new to video editing in general, any guidance or advice for alternative LUTs or tweaking? I'm using davinci resolve.

This is just a screengrab from within the app, so ignoring quality... the color just seems completely off?

You generally need to reduce the intensity, often to 50% or less.
Depending on your software there is probably a way to directly fade an effect or make an adjustment layer which can have reduced opacity.
