I made a universal mount, very durable and battery can easily be removed for charging.
I have one for sale, €45 including cable.

it probably has more to do with the charger and the mavic charger not being able to be used

CrystalSky works with all current models including the Spark now, the issue is you need a separate charger to use it with the Mavic as it’s different connection, either Phantom 3 onwards or Inspire series and you can also use one of the cheaper multi chargers as long as it has the RC charge connector.
