DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic Pro

When I download DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic Pro on my iPad Mini (ios) prompt to login then it prompts searching for device.......where should be connected to please.
Can you step me through the procedure that should follow from there on please.

When I download DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic Pro on my iPad Mini

The DJI Assistant 2 app is not compatible with the iPad Mini. You must run it on a Windows/Apple computer.

The DJI Assistant you downloaded is not for the Mavic. In the description it clearly says> Support for Ronin and Ronin-M. The DJI Assistant you need comes from the DJI website. Delete the iOS version off of your iPad.

Hello, I dont know whats wrong with DJI Assistant 2.
Im trying to login so that I can calibrate and upgrade check fiemware status, but it simply doesnt let me login at all.
What am I missing ?

I have trouble getting Assistant 2 to recognize the device. Sometimes have all devices on then launch program, sometimes have USB plugged in before powering up remote. Seems strange to me.
