DJI Go app vs Go4 app

Hello Pilots, what is the main difference between these two apps? Got my Mavic a few days ago and I'm going through the manual now. Of course the manual mentions the DJI Go app and explains it very well. Just wondering what the main difference is and what are your thoughts. Thanks

I think the Go4 is the update for the version 4 firmware. That's what I use. Never done the DJI Go

They are nearly identical at the moment. You should use DJI GO 4 when flying the Mavic.

I am using the DJI GO4 app for my Mavic. I kept the original DJI GO app installed on my phone, and when I went to fly my Phantom 3 it wouldn't allow it. It kept trying to open with GO4, kind of a pain that it doesn't recognize the different aircraft and open the appropriate program. I was wondering if Litchi would let me fly both aircraft or if I would have to invest in a tablet or something for my P3. Although with as much fun as I am having with the Mavic, who knows how long I will even keep my P3.
