Found some pros and cons with my first attempt to share a video.

Let my good friend fly for for 10 minutes in 12 degrees / 25mph gusty wind he wanted to see his video.

  1. Left the Mavic, and my controller powered on (not sure if this is necessary).
  2. Android Samsung Galaxy S7 hit the back button to get to the DGI GO landing page.
  3. Clicked editor
  4. Found my ~6min of raw video labeled as "new"
  5. stepped through the video and grabbed about 3 minutes of less boring video
  6. chose the first music option and clicked next
  7. previewed the clip with music, was satisfied
  8. The next Share screen had ~8 tiny icons of which I recognized 2.
  9. Was frustrated I didn't see YouTube as one.
  10. Accidently clicked the screen and it stated uploading
  11. After it finished, it said it went to skyPixel (faintly recalled setting that up day 1)
  12. Opened SkyPixel URL on my phone, disappointed that their site isn't mobile friendly
  13. Copied the URL into a FaceBook status update tagging my friend using TinFoil (a more private FB app)
From a PC it keeps does offer 1080P however it holds me in a frame and is covered with ads
  14. Disappointed that SkyPixel doesn't post a thumbnail image of the video like YouTube does.
  15. Find the raw video (5:27) in my Gallery: DJI_RECORD album... hmmm.
  16. Find the clipped w/music video on my Gallery: Production album! sweet
  17. Uploaded the clipped w/music to YouTube and shared that URL on FB.
Disappointed it only offers 720p and below.
Is there a way, without pulling out the SD card to Upload clipped w/with music to share with people at high resolution? 1080p and higher?
Is DJI Go locked into Skypixel?
