Drone Pilot/Motorcycle Correlation?

Honda VFR1200 with 60,000km. Still runs like new. I get a kick when people think 50,000 km is high.

1998 Honda fireblade, completely original and mint. And a Yamaha 426 supermoto

BMW F650 GS from 2001. Bought in 2008; added since then 60k Kilometers. A very fun bike to ride through Europe.

Loving my Yamaha MT-07, it's a great traffic buster - plenty of toooorque and so light.

(Not the best scenery lol)

'12 Street Glide... just sold the '09 Heritage. Got the SG on the market now. Just don't get time for ridin' much these days. Will have to get my 'wind therapy' via the MP now...

So now for the next correlation.....Do bike owning Mavic pilots crash their drone more/less often ????

2016 Husky FE501 and 2015 KTM 350sxf

Im an offroad guy. So really excited to get the footage of the rides. Heres one from last weekend...

I had real trouble tracking on downward slopes, seems like that is a limitation unless I am doing something wrong. Any tips you have with the dual sport moto are appreciated. I learned I can mount the iPhone on the bike using a ram mount, then run a longer cord to the RC controller on a lanyard around my neck. My first time trying the longer cord, I couldn't get it to work. I found that I needed to unplug the micro USB cable form the side, power cycle the RC with the longer cable attached to the standard USB port.

I also had a problem where I launched with active track and began riding, but was fouled up with the range limitation. Now I just need to know to update my home location as I ride and set the max distance further. I really dig what we can do with these things!

This is great! Were you flying manually in all those shots on your video? I'm going to be doing a big bear ride in a couple of weeks and will be using the ram mount with active track. I will let you know how it goes.

My biggest struggle has been finding the best flight mode for why we do. Obviously can't use it in our high speed sections but I want to get good shots close enough. I wish there was a mode where we could mount the RC and phone to the bars and it knows to follow that as a beacon of some sort. It's just too easy for the drone to lose site in a turn or trees or whatever. Any input would be appreciated...

Officially over 200,000 miles on BMW's. Currently riding a F800GS. Also riding a Vespa 300 GTS which truthfully, is my favorite ride now.
