FAA Registration Lookup

So we all know or should know about the $5 registration with FAA for the Mavic. I searched their website and I have not found a single place to look up my number for information. The only option you can search is FAA Registration N#. This obviously doesn't work with our numbers.

So if I lose my Mavic or anyone else loses theirs, I assume the number is useless to contact the owner is this correct?

Has anyone found a way to search an FAA number for your drone or to locate the owner of a lost drone other than if someone has cell phone and stuff on it?

That's correct. You could contact the FAA for help since they are able to look up the number internally.

I don't think you can reverse search based on an FAA #, probably due to privacy concerns. Should you find someone's drone, I'd just contact the FAA and let them know the # and they can contact the person.
