I have a registration for my old Phantom that I no longer own. Is this transferrable to the mavic, or do I need to cancel it and create another number? Logged into the FAA site, on my account and can't figure out how to add another drone without cancelling this one. Also can't get any clarification on if it is per aircraft or individual. Thoughts?

If you're a hobbyist, you should apply your existing FAA registration number to all of your drones. The number itself is not associated to any of your aircraft. It's only associated to you.

Right. As a hobbyist you register yourself as a pilot. The individual drones don't need to be registered unless 1) you're using them for commercial purposes or 2) it weighs over 5 pounds. Otherwise just do as the member above said: place your FAA pilot registration number on each of your drones.
