I had seen a thread a while back about decoding the Mavics serial number. Apparently this link has it broken down

Cool. I received my Mavic 8 days after it was made.

The first mavic i got with a nonfuctioning gimbal from the factory was made 03/06 (monday), its replacement that just arrived today WITH a FUNCTIONING gimbal was made 03/01. That midweek crew does better work haha

12 days after this work of art was assembled I was flying it.

March 3rd mine was built! On a Friday to boot, which is kinda scary but the only problems I've had with it is trying to find spots clear enough to fly out 20,000 feet

Built on the 9th of November
By the time it got to me in Australia it was the 28th of November

One of the first in the state :D

Nov 14 2016 here. I got my hands on it on 21 March 2017.

Monday, Nov 21st.
It has these little "eyebrow" bumps up front, and probably doesn't have twisted wires to the rear motors, based on its compass complaining half the time when I go full-speed Sport mode.

My Mavic Pro was manufactured on Tuesday, February, 7th 2017

Hmmmm, Saturday, 31st of December 2016?
How likely is that? But I guess in China...

Jan 20th received Feb 14th (4 months & 10 days after ordering!)
