I had my first major mishap after flying approx. 75 flights.
The Mavic lost connection to the controller. Go 4 video screen went black.
Lost control of the Mavic at about 100 feet at a distance of 800 feet. Line of sight.
The Mavic did, after some time, RTH; so gratefully, got it back.
Since the controller lost the flight data, I am trying to look at the .dat files from the
aircraft using Assistant 2 and the Data Viewer to analyze what happened.
My first question is, what scale is used for the X axis when "Time" is selected.
I flew of about 3 minutes when the connection was lost but the time line shows the
aircraft returning the 0 altitude at about 1 on the X axis.
When I look at the video recording, the Mavic does some strange stuff, yawing round
and round a three times very fast, pausing, round and round 1.5 times, 1 more time, then faced
home. Between each yaw circling, it looks like the Mavic raised in altitude. After a pause,
it looked like return to home finally happened. I might note, the return path home faced the
sun and some reflections can be seen on the video lens. Obstacle avoidance?
I can provide more info like Airdata files, video, Data Viewer files, etc.
First, I want to make sure that I am using the correct .dat file, I have so many recorded and
it seems as if the timestamps are screwed up. More to follow.
